Working in the food industry means having the weirdest eating habits and schedules. Mainly because the busiest parts of our day would be the peak hours of lunch and dinner making us eat whatever is available at the moment we are free.

People usually think we eat the most delicious meals since we work at a restaurant – we tell you otherwise. We save all the dishes for our customers, staff meals for our staff, and well, for us? We’re usually left with joints that are open until late a.k.a. fast-food joints, instant food, or Nihon Bashitei.

If there’s something we can’t get enough of right now – and we’re sure we’ll never get enough of – it would have to be Johnsonville’s Beddar with Cheddar Smoked Sausage Links. The first thing we look for when it comes to eating hotdogs is the snap. And it was only when we’ve tried these have we gotten properly snappy dogs here in Manila – it literally clicks every time you bite! But this one is not just about that wonderful collagen casing. Think juicy, smoky, garlicky, porky sausages oozing with all that processed cheddar cheese. More importantly for us, they’re available in supermarkets, which means we can cook them anytime; and they’re available in Family Mart, which means we can get them anytime too. What more can we ask for?
