After being on hiatus, Tomorrow came back with a line that speaks to everyone’s inner wallflower — it’s a line that celebrates taking a break, embracing solitude, and even dancing with your demons. Launched during a fun afternoon gig, founders Andrew Panopio, Tim Lopez, and newest member Mia Bautista, presented their latest mini collection, Day Off: Fresh Air.
Like the brand’s previous releases, this new collection also follows a theme. The concept came from the team’s own interests, after they took the time to gather themselves and detoxify. “Sometimes you just have to do nothing, retreat, and find yourself so you can go back out there again,” says Andrew. The designs shows just that, with the white shirt illustrating internal reflection, and the black shirt rejoicing in the face of your own demons — perfectly reminiscent of times we’ve all danced alone in our rooms while wallowing in our own miseries.
“We just want to get back to the community, check out our roots, and make new connections.”
With the constant pressure of being the best and doing the most, Tomorrow encourages taking your time. As for the future of the brand, Mia says, “We just want to get back to the community, check out our roots, and make new connections.” We’re all out here figuring out things for ourselves, so might as well look forward to tomorrow.
