Songs to listen to at the National Planetarium

It’s time to make those almost-Oscar-worthy (yes, we went there) dreams a reality. Who knew that the City of Stars was hiding in the heart of Manila? The National Planetarium will be holding full-dome shows free of charge until April 30.

Students, science enthusiasts, and kids at heart can enjoy a viewing experience just as immersive — or maybe even better because this is IRL — as a 3D movie. That’s just expected from the new hybrid projector they brought in with the renovation.

They will be holding five shows from Tuesday to Saturday (9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.) and two on Sundays (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.). Each show runs for 35 to 45 minutes, so that’s enough time to marvel and daydream.

In case you’re itching for a way to complement your viewing experience, we curated a mixtape that can help you see the stars in a new light. Download these and plug in your earphones. Let’s take you for a ride.

The National Planetarium is located at Padre Burgos Ave., Ermita, Manila.
