Ever since Call Me By Your Name was released in 2017, people have been taking all sorts of inspiration from the fabulous Italian town where Elio (Timothee Chalamet) and Oliver (Armie Hammer) fell in love. We’ve seen people sport Oliver’s fashion, and learn Elio’s music repertoire. They even want Armie to sign their peaches. The effect the movie has had on today’s culture is palpable.
And now, we can finally hear their music come to life. Organized by CC:Concepts, “Call Me by Your Name In Concert” is happening Oct. 28 at 8 p.m., Samsung Hall in SM Aura, where The Manila Symphony Orchestra will provide music to take you back to the film’s key moments. From that time when Elio played the piano for Oliver for the first time to that scene in the pool, it’s the perfect opportunity to spend time with the CMBYN stans or maybe your long-time partner.
