To be Penny Lane you gotta love the music, the band, and everything else that comes with it. You’re no groupie; you are a band aid. But sometimes being a band aid — especially in 2017 — can cost you.
Before you go kiss your Penny Lane dreams goodbye, hear us out. Every penny (well, peso) is worth it when you head to a music festival that serves a serious bang for your buck. This year’s Wanderland is doing just that. They have a total of 16 local and foreign acts playing (The Temper Trap, The Ting Tings, Explosions in the Sky, Yuna), games all around the venue, and an exhibition of live art from four artists. For a ticket price of P5,915, you get to watch each band and artist for roughly about P300. That’s just two cups of coffee or an Uber ride from Marikina to Makati.
Think of it as an investment. To reaaaaallly experience music, you need to hear it live. You gotta feel the rush of the riffs and solos in your bones, you know?
Here’s an infographic that’ll help you understand the ropes a little bit better. Being a band aid was the best decision we’ve made and we don’t intend on stopping. See y’all at the mosh pit.
