The holidays are upon us, and everyone is either stocking up on tokens for their loved ones or hoarding for themselves. In any case, we’ve got just the thing for you: Radioactive Mushrooms in the Forest.
Bringing back your fondest memories: Radioactive Mushrooms in the Forest’s perfume collection.
Founded by Wiji Lacsamana, the brand started as a little project with her husband for the annual Art in the Park bazaar. Her natural fascination with perfumes and unique scents in high school has evolved into a full-on business. Wiji makes handcrafted organic scents and natural makeup stored in the cutest packaging (really, they’re to die for).
To top it all off, the cutest packaging on their imagination tints.
We’re no strangers to the power of the sense of smell. Scents can easily take us back to the moment when we first encountered it before (e.g. gingerbread smells like Christmas, coconut smells like summer, and so on). Every scent by Radioactive Mushrooms ITF stems from fleeting moments and cherished memories, such as days you want to stay under the covers or the feeling after hiking in the mountains. These memories are encapsulated in their oil perfumes and candles.
For all the Wes Anderson fans out there, it’s time to experience his films up close and personal with Wiji’s limited edition “The Wes Anderson inspired collection.” Taking notable scenes and characters from these films as her inspiration, you can evoke your inner Margot Tenenbaum with the scent aptly named “Margot” (floral scent that dries down into smoky tobacco and musk notes), walk into Mendl’s patisserie with “Mendl’s” (sweet with a powdery finish) or fall in love all over again with “Summer’s End” as inspired by the love of Suzy Bishop and Sam Shakusky (gardenia and cedar wood).
The imagination tints on the other hand are definitely next in line in the search for your next holy grail item. Each tint is versatile as they can even be used as an eyeshadow, bronzer or a highlighter depending on the shade. As an added bonus, all items are natural and cruelty-free. Since these are all just hand-crafted and made in small batches, you better snag your own bottle before they start running out.
