Creative pursuits come to life at Finders Keepers

There’s no denying that  the idea of being a young creative with unconventional dreams appeal to us lot of millennials and Gen X-ers.  Who could blame us when, such a feat is so liberating? But then reality hits and we are suddenly slapped with the cold hard truth: the struggle is real, especially when choosing to forge the path of a full-fledged creative.  It’s not as glitzy and as glamorous as one might think, which thankfully, the folks over at Eden and June understand this struggle quite well.

A community at its core, Eden and June is a centralized space where free-spirited artists roam, sharing and nurturing their passion projects with others. It is a venture that seeks to fill the gaps in Manila’s bustling creative scene, a space where artists can come together and feel at home and constantly engage, inspire, converse, and collaborate.

In line with their philosophy of creating bighearted experiences in the hopes of cultivating Manila’s creative spirit, Finders Keepers is set to make its debut. Think summertime yard sales of your childhood. Finders Keepers does the same bringing together a community of well-curated local brands and their salvo of beloved not-so-new-items of all sorts. The endeavor also serves as a kickoff to Eden and June’s upcoming slew of seasonal pop-up fairs.

Get ready for their line-up of amazing homegrown brands and personalities such as Sunday Paper, Soleil Ignacio, Daydream Republic, and Kudu Iniativ. Expect your taste buds to tingle in anticipation as delectable artisanal grub and drink will also be on hand too. Live performances from Nathan Huang, Saba, Keiko Necesario, and Reese Lansangan among many others will make for the perfect soundtrack as you make your rounds in search for your next beloved haunt. Completing the round-up are craft workshops from Kendo Creatives that are sure to  get your creative juices flowing.

The flea market is a lighthearted 2-day weekend affair from June 3 to 4,  11 9 P.M., at The Tent at Acacia Estates, Taguig City. Mark your calendars now.
