This is ‘Call Me By Your Name’ like you’ve never seen before

Picture this: you’re 17 years old in ‘80s Italia, it’s summer, and you’re falling in love. The setting of Call Me By Your Name is enough to make us yearn, but it’s when we meet Elio (Timothée Chalamet) and Oliver (Armie Hammer) that we realize this film will render us tender. A story about first love, longing, innocence, and loss, Call Me By Your Name had an all-too-brief run in our cinemas earlier this year — but this October, you can relive this love story in a brand new way: with a live orchestra.

Accompanied by music from Ryuichi Sakamoto, Bach, Sufjan Stevens (courtesy of The Manila Symphony Orchestra), it’s a Call Me By Your Name experience you wouldn’t want to miss. From Elio playing the piano to their visit to Bergamo, expect us to be there, in CMBYN-inspired outfits, longing and soaking in the beauty of it all.
