Can you kick it? Yes you can.
Every sneakerhead knows that you’re only as hot as your latest cop. Sneaker drops — the good ones, at least — here in the country are about as rare as they come, and when they do arrive, they’re about as rare as a blue moon, and getting your hands on a pair is even more difficult. Lucky for you, The Athlete’s Foot is going in a new direction that aims to deliver the freshest sneakers and atheleisure looks with their new flagship store in Power Plant Mall, Makati.
The Athlete’s Foot has been around for quite a while — 45 years, to be exact — and you might remember seeing it in your favorite mall as a sports shop. But, proving you can actually teach old dogs new tricks, The Athlete’s Foot is going through a revamp. They’re gearing towards embodying every sneakerhead and life-athlete who considers sport and style equally important.
And to show that they really mean business, they released new colorways of the Adidas NMD R2 at their new flagship. Other cop-worthy styles include the Adidas Campus, Superstar and Stan Smith; plus the highly-anticipated Nike Air Zoom Mariah, Cortez and other Air Max styles. Apart from Nike and Adidas, The Athlete’s Foot also carries shoes and apparel from New Balance, Asics, and Saucony to complete your athleisure look. What’s more, The Athlete’s Foot now also produces its own label, with a range of shirts, slides, hoodies and jogger pants. Talk about a one-stop shop.
The Athlete’s Foot’s new flagship store is located on the second floor of Power Plant Mall in Makati. Their other branches are located in Glorietta 2, Robinson’s Magnolia, and Two Parkade in BGC. For more information, follow them on Instagram at @theathletesfootph.
